Where would you go to if you could fly anywhere on Earth?
to bali, where the jungles seamlessly merge into the beaches and you and your lover are the only ones there apart from the locals. yet, you are a mere fifteen minute walk from a town with many locally owned bars and markets.
How many books do you own?
i estimate.... hmmm... about 60... i have a list of books i want that is about 25 books long as well.
What’s your favourite movie from your childhood?
the old disney films
Who’s your favourite teacher?
my old art teacher, she wasn’t just a teacher but my friend as well
What’s your favourite kind of clothing?
things that are made to high quality standards, that are feminine but i can make them look edgier or more androgynous.
Bad habit?
procrastination. for EVERYTHING
What was the last fictional thing you cried over?(Book, movie, or show)
the fault in our stars
What was the last vacation you took?
new york, it was incredible and my feet were so painful and tired, that by the end of the day i was walking on pure adrenaline from being there. the moment i sat down, if i stood back up, my legs literally collapsed
What’s on your walls?
a cork-board of lots of ocean pictures, harry styles and the rest of 1d. up all night album cover poster above my bed. signed harry poster at the foot of my bed. small-ish oval vintage photo frame with flowers engraved on the old silver; white antique smallish round mirror; pretty heart hangings and breakfast at tiffany’s original movie poster, all above my chest of drawers.
Where are you right now?
kitchen, where my lovely giant mac computer is
What kind of tattoo do you think you would have if you got one?
a moon with a face on it on my right wrist and a sun with a face on it on my left; a combined sun and moon image on my left shoulder; then finally “handle with care” under my left boob.
What did you do last night?
stayed at home, blogging and then writing my book
What’s your favourite album ever & why?
is this for real? jesus, ummm... next? if it was favourite song it would be easier.
If you could see any band in the whole world live, who would it be?
alunageorge, the kooks or one night only
Explain your icon.
harry. i don’t need to say his surname because the whole world knows it. this is one of my favourite photos of him, the focus on the camera is exquisite and even though it’s in black and white i imagine it in colour. i still remember the time i saw his first audition. i sitting in my usual seat on the sofa, curled up and bored of the x factor, then harry came on and my heart began to beat a little faster. i watched him as he said his name was harry and i was immediately a little annoyed by the girls who appeared that clearly found him extremely attractive, on the tv as they were so much prettier than me and i thought, “i bet he’d like them over me.” then he started to sing and i was immediately happy, but not happy because my head told me to be happy from his singing, but from my heart and i got chills. he sang effortlessly, and even though he has more of a rugged voice now, it still had a tone to it that made me think of guitar playing at night in the back of a pickup truck that was parked on the beach. and it reminded me of the first time my dad played stevie wonder to me. so that is what this photo reminds me of. the start of my love for harry. because everything he wears, says, does, sings, watches and listens to is synchronised to me and my tastes.

What’s your idea of a perfect night?
the scenario with harry i explained. listen to “infinite arms” by band of horses, this is what i mean.
What are you looking forward to right now?
seeing the guy i have a crush on tomorrow.
What are your favourite smells?
sea spray, coconut water with raspberries in it, chloe edp, english pear and freesia, my mum and dad... but ultimately? bleu de chanel.

“paper towns” - john greens

be happy with my appearance... can that count?
